Welcoming in July: Ambrose Richardson, MA

Ambrose believes healing begins in a space where people feel truly safe, seen, and accepted. They are deeply committed to working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and neurodivergent clients, bringing a strong passion for affirming, inclusive care to every therapeutic relationship. Ambrose recognizes that each person’s story is unique and approaches it with curiosity, compassion, and respect.

Ambrose works with clients experiencing anxiety, complex trauma, religious trauma, relationship challenges, and depression. Their therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adlerian Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model, they tailor treatment to meet the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each client.

Ambrose earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler Graduate School and completed their clinical internship at Tubman, where they gained experience serving individuals and families in a community mental health setting. They are currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) under supervision.

Ambrose will work out of our Golden Valley office (4150 Olson Memorial Highway, #420). To schedule, call (866) 522-2472.
