Alissa Krueger, MA
Alissa works with adults of all ages, approaching therapy with compassion and attentiveness to each client’s unique concerns and goals. Her priority in every session is to ensure clients feel safe, seen, and heard. She values the use of humor alongside empathy and thoughtful insight, offering new perspectives while creating a supportive space for clarity and growth.
Alissa has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and women’s issues across the lifespan. As a mother, she is especially passionate about helping parents navigate the stresses of parenting, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and postpartum depression and anxiety. She is also particularly drawn to individuals who feel deeply and fear rejection—often described as “too sensitive”—including those struggling with low self-esteem, chronic shame, fear of rejection or failure, people-pleasing, and perfectionism.
Alissa tailors her approach to each client’s needs, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and psychodynamic/attachment-based therapy. She is currently receiving clinical supervision from a qualified, licensed clinical supervisor while completing the requirements for full licensure.
