Ellie Anderson, MA, LMFT
Ellie obtained a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and her Master’s degree from Adler Graduate School. She believes strongly in the power of human resilience and believes our relationships are a key factor in this. As a marriage and family therapist, she enjoys working with individuals of all ages as well as couples and families. She has experience working in a treatment setting for chemical dependency and complex trauma, where she has gained experience in using EMDR and inner child work to help individuals overcome childhood wounds to be more present and functional in their current lives and relationships. In addition, she has experience assisting individuals in working through grief and loss, general life transitions, anxiety and depression as well as managing symptoms of ADHD. She appreciates the uniqueness that each individual brings to therapy and believes the therapeutic journey, despite its challenges, can also be a fun and rewarding experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside in all of the Minnesota seasons, fixing up her old Minneapolis home, and walking her dog.
